Commission recommends purchasing E360 code-codification tool and flags a citation error in Data Center ordinance

The Chanceford Township Planning Commission on March 17 recommended that the Board of Supervisors purchase the E360 ordinance codification program to codify township ordinances and flagged an incorrect citation in the Data Center ordinance that staff will correct.
Zoning Officer Jeff Koons reported that the Data Center Ordinance (2026-2) references Section 441 in Ordinance 2026-1 but that the ordinance reference in the use table is incorrect. Secretary Leah Geesey said she will contact John Wilson to obtain the correct citation and make corrections.
Later in the meeting Chairman John Shanbarger moved that the Commission recommend purchasing the E360 program to the Supervisors; Bruce Miller seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
What happens next
Secretary Geesey will contact John Wilson to resolve the ordinance citation error. The Board of Supervisors will consider the Planning Commission’s recommendation on purchasing E360; final purchase and implementation would be decided by the Supervisors.
