Resident changes driveway plan to permeable pavers after coverage limit concerns
An applicant for 571 Acacia proposed a concrete driveway that would have increased impermeable coverage to about 1,725 sq ft versus the lot allowance of 888.6 sq ft (6%) or 1,000 sq ft by ordinance; the applicant chose permeable pavers after the board reviewed the drawing.

At its March 21, 2025 meeting the Melbourne Village Town Review Board reviewed an initial consultation from Karen Whitehead for a proposed concrete driveway at 571 Acacia. The board reviewed the applicant's drawing and discussed elements of the proposal, including existing and proposed impermeable surface totals.
