The Wasatch County School Board approved an annual subscription to Diligent community board-management software in a vote on Wednesday.
Superintendent Gary Peterson presented the request on behalf of absent staff and said the subscription amount (excluding sales tax) is $15,474.94. He said the district plans to migrate from BoardDocs to Diligent beginning this fall once staff have confirmed all policies and materials are properly uploaded and vetted.
Board members asked about public access and searchability; staff said the portal will be easier to navigate and that migration will not occur until the district is confident all documents and policies have been transferred. The board approved the purchase by voice vote and discussed a fall implementation timeline.
