ARB discusses Vision Zero, state housing changes and upcoming development design guidelines

Near the meeting’s end the ARB discussed new business items including traffic safety and housing policy. Member Steven Reverlach raised the recent death of a Boston transportation planner and asked about local progress on Vision Zero-style policies. Planning staff said they will present the new Arlington Traffic Calming Guide at an upcoming meeting and that adopting a Vision Zero framework is a priority when staffing allows.
