Properties Committee advances keycard and CMH network work, flags Torzewski pool delays and building-closure policy questions

JT Anderson updated the committee on a keycard project at the former DHHS building (committee agreed to proceed under prior authority), a Cat 6 cabling upgrade for CMH (sealed bids forthcoming and recommendation expected Feb. 26), Torzewski pool contractor delays and possible bond action, and a building-closure policy discussion that produced no motion.

JT Anderson, Lapeer County’s Building & Grounds/Parks Director, told the Properties Committee on Feb. 12 that a keycard upgrade is needed at the former DHHS building and that because of a previously approved motion only a signature by Chairman Zender or County Administrator Moses Sanzo is required to proceed; the committee agreed to move forward.
