Acushnet panel projects updated after peer review; battery storage removed from Clems Way plan

The Acushnet Conservation Commission reviewed changes to two local solar projects July 22, including a peer-reviewed flagging update for a proposed 3.116 MW farm on R Main Street and a modification to the Clems Way project that removes battery storage and reduces impervious area.

Asa Smith of Atlantic Design Engineers asked the Acushnet Conservation Commission on July 22 to extend an existing Order of Resource Area Delineation (ORAD) for a proposed 3.116-megawatt photovoltaic project at 540 R Main Street after a peer review updated several wetland flag locations. "With the peer review complete and agreement reached on the delineation, we respectfully request that the commission approved the LRAD this evening," Smith told the panel.
