The North Smithfield School Committee voted on July 21 to extend its existing contract with Mar Studios for one year while staff develop a request for proposals for longer-term services. The chair introduced the item as a one-year extension prior to issuing an RFP, and a motion to extend was made, seconded and approved by voice vote.
