Jeff Smith told the Economic Development Committee that he was disappointed the city posted responses to the zoning RFP with only two days' notice and that at least one response was not text-searchable (rendered as images), making public review difficult. "Two days isn't enough time for the public to read it," Smith said, and he urged staff to consider extending deadlines or otherwise improving public access and engagement before the PND and City Council consider the work.
