Council approves $2,000 contribution for Morgan County dam maintenance
The Town of Bath voted to contribute $2,000 to an Eastern Panhandle watershed agreement for ongoing operation, maintenance and inspection of county flood-control retention structures; the motion carried by voice vote.

Council considered an annual request to contribute $2,000 toward operation and maintenance of retention dams in Morgan County. A representative explained the town historically contributed to the effort and that the funds support inspection and maintenance of around eight retention dams in the county. "The motion to approve the request invoice request for $2,000 contribution towards the repair and maintenance of the dam system in Morgan County," the mover stated, and the council approved the motion by voice vote.
