Public Works reports motor replacement, VFD reprogramming and schedule changes ahead of Community Day

Public Works Director Dustin Brinkly reported a replaced motor after a water-pressure complaint, that Phil rewired and reprogrammed the VFD to reduce wear, and announced a shift to Monday–Friday 7 a.m.–4 p.m. schedules for public-works staff; Parks repairs and a mowing request were also discussed for Community Day.

Public Works Director Dustin Brinkly updated the council June 2 that he received a call from Ray Esser about fluctuating water pressure; the motor had faulted and was replaced the following day. The minutes state Phil rewired and reprogrammed the variable frequency drive (VFD) to reduce motor wear, and Dustin and Phil discussed a future upgrade that could further extend equipment life.
