The Jackson County Board of Commissioners approved Order No. 180‑26 on July 1, 2026, accepting Grant Agreement No. 25‑201 with the State of Oregon Department of Emergency Management to fund purchase and installation of a paging system at the Expo. County Administrator Danny Jordan told the Board the system is intended to improve emergency and routine communications across indoor and outdoor Expo spaces.
