The Key Colony Beach City Commission approved an interim lease extension for the municipal golf course in a 4–1 roll‑call vote on Sept. 18. Commissioner Tom DiFransico moved to approve the extension; Commissioner Kirk Diehl voted no while Vice‑Mayor Doug Colonell, Commissioner Tom Harding and Mayor Freddie Foster supported the motion.
