Mayor Richard Hayward recommended three appointments to the Altamont Recreation Commission and the council approved each by motion on Sept. 12. Kristi Bishop was appointed to a term ending Dec. 31, 2024; Kayla Daniels to a term ending Dec. 31, 2026; and Hailey Hanzlick to a term ending Dec. 31, 2025.
