The council moved to proceed with annexation of city property at Idle Hour Lake and approved the motion on Sept. 12. Councilmember Kyle Wiford clarified that the action would annex the lake island only and would not include the surrounding buffer zone; Wiford moved and Cochran seconded the motion and it carried.
