ODOT advisory committee opens second iteration, sets oversight focus on largest projects

"So welcome to our 1st meeting of the 2nd iteration of the committee and 1st meeting in 2026," Silva said, asking members to provide feedback on materials and the work plan.
The committee heard an overview of responsibilities from Tova Peltz, interim division administrator for delivery and operations and interim chief engineer, including quarterly reporting to the Oregon Transportation Commission and the legislature. Members agreed by consensus to extend every third monthly meeting to two hours to allow more time for presentations and robust discussion of major projects; staff will update calendar invites and circulate materials in advance.
