ODOT advisory committee opens second iteration, sets oversight focus on largest projects
The Continuous Improvement Advisory Committee met for its first session of 2026 to set priorities for oversight and reporting of major transportation projects, agree to extended quarterly meetings for in-depth project briefings, and begin review of proposed changes to key performance measures.

Kat Silva, operations project manager at the Oregon Department of Transportation, opened the committee's first 2026 meeting and framed the group's mission: clearer materials, balanced presentation and discussion, and follow-through on action items. "So welcome to our 1st meeting of the 2nd iteration of the committee and 1st meeting in 2026," Silva said, asking members to provide feedback on materials and the work plan.
