The recycling center director told the Warren County board that the center's can crusher, installed in 1993, is beginning to fail and that a replacement would cost roughly $66,000. The director said an upgraded stainless model would add about $21,000, and that the center has previously received the Recycling Market Development Grant but finds the application "difficult to get."
