Stephanie Boyette, executive director of the Physical Therapy board, told the committee the board licenses about 4,242 physical therapists and assistants and recorded 29 complaints in the most recent fiscal year. "There are 4,242 licensees," Boyette said, and she described two primary budget asks: a roughly $6,000 total salary progression to recognize long‑tenured staff and an increase in per‑diem authority (about $360) to reflect more frequent board meetings.
