The Evergreen Local Board of Education approved a slate of personnel actions at its July 20 meeting, accepting resignations and offering new contracts for administrative, teaching and nonteaching positions for the 2026–27 school year.
"We need to offer a 2 year administrative contract effective 08/01/2026 to Lisa Saab, Student services at an initial salary of 86,000," the chair (Lisa) read as part of the personnel slate. The board also approved an initial salary of $95,000 for Julie Steinhardt, school psychologist, and multiple one-year limited contracts for nonteaching and teaching positions, pending required certifications and licensure.
The personnel slate included resignations for Sharon Lipinski (elementary counselor), Bethany Bowser (elementary aide), Tracy Green (high school teacher), and Cheryl McIntosh (high school cook). The board also approved supplemental coaching contracts and volunteers for athletics, noting several rescinded and newly offered assignments.
Board members noted the hires will allow new-staff orientation to proceed in August and that some appointments are contingent on certification completion. Those contingencies were recorded in the personnel motions.
