Belleair Beach added a subsection to prohibit portions of driveways or driveway turnouts inside the 25‑foot sight triangle at intersections to reduce visibility obstructions; council moved and seconded the change and approved it for codification.

Staff proposed adding subsection E to the roadway and driveway visibility code (94‑259) to prohibit any portion of a driveway or driveway turnout from being located within the sight‑triangle formed by 25‑foot legs from the intersection. The change is intended to reduce obstructions that create traffic hazards at corners and driveways.
