Select Board votes to enter executive session after public comment
After an extended public-comment period about a personnel decision, the Royalton Select Board moved to enter executive session to discuss personnel matters; the motion passed and the public was asked to wait while the board met privately.

Following several public comments about a personnel action involving a town road worker, the Chair asked for a motion to enter executive session. Scott moved to enter executive session and the Chair seconded; the Chair called the vote and recorded 'Aye,' after which the board proceeded to meet privately. The Chair said the board would invite the public back in "in just a couple minutes" and asked the employee (identified in public comment as Demi) to wait in the kitchen.
