Council adopts ordinance creating city code chapter for electric motorcycles
On second reading the council adopted Ordinance 2839, which adds a new chapter to city code addressing the use and operation of electric motorcycles; committee asked staff to publicize training associated with the code.

The city clerk read Ordinance 2839 by title, an ordinance "of the city of Enumclaw" adopting a new chapter on electric motorcycles in the city code. A staff member (police commander Tony Ryan was asked to give a report) told council there were no changes to the staff recommendation. A committee report said committee members asked that training be publicized but had no other objections.
