Committee approves two LTE assistants to run Home Energy Assistance program
The committee approved moving administration of the state's Home Energy Assistance (Fuel) Program to Timber Drive under Financial Services and creating two LTE assistant positions funded by the state; the motion passed unanimously.

Human Services Director Beth Hoerchler told the committee the county wants to shift administration of the Wisconsin Home Energy Assistance (Fuel) Program from Economic Support to a Timber Drive location overseen by Financial Services Supervisor Heidi Chavez. Hoerchler said the department is seeking two LTE assistant positions to staff the program, and that the LTE positions would be funded through the state.
