Adams County highlights multimillion-dollar interchange grant, transit projects and I‑270 EIS milestone

Transportation staff updated the board on several major regional projects and funding steps. Staff announced that the US 85 and the 104th/120th interchange project received BUILD grant funding and that the total interchange construction cost is expected to be large—staff estimated an order-of-magnitude range in the low hundreds of millions. "This is a giant construction project," a transportation staff member said, and staff said they will coordinate regional partners to determine the local match and project phasing.
