Selectboard flags potential General Fund overrun and approves $1,200 auditor bill

The Highway Fund was characterized as tight; DeSocio and Treasurer Melissa Brown will meet with E. Mark Bills to identify potential actions to keep highway expenses within budget.
The Selectboard voted unanimously to pay auditors a submitted invoice of $1,200 for work covering 2022 through 2026, and discussed establishing invoice time limits for submissions going forward. The board also discussed executing contract extensions with Hammond Engineering; Emily Beer said she resent the extension documents to the chair for signature.
