Selectboard notes Energy Committee inactive and tables several appointments
Summary
The Selectboard concluded the Energy Committee is no longer active and tabled multiple appointments, including the Supervisor of Grants, Trustee of Public Funds, DVFiber representative, and certain emergency-management designations.
At the March 4 meeting the Selectboard determined that the Energy Committee no longer exists. The record shows the board agreed there were no active proceedings for that committee and therefore did not appoint replacements.
Several other appointments were explicitly tabled: the Supervisor of Grants, Trustee of Public Funds, DVFiber representative and alternate, auditor appointment, and the appointments of first and second constable (which are elected in November). The minutes also show a decision to table designating an Emergency Management Director and Coordinator pending further work.
The board asked Selectboard member Stan Noga to research the timeline and implications of not having a Flood Plain Administrator. Those items will return to a future agenda for formal action.
