Selectboard schedules March 18 public hearing on draft Town Plan

Selectboard members approved a notice of public hearing for the draft Town Plan to be held on March 18, 2026 before the Selectboard meeting. Chair Mike DeSocio said the Planning Commission has already completed its public hearing on the draft plan and met the hearing requirement, though no members of the public attended that session. The board’s public hearing will give the Selectboard the chance to consider approval of the plan at a subsequent meeting.
DeSocio said the notice will be posted on town bulletin boards and run in The Brattleboro Reformer. The Selectboard motion to approve the notice of public hearing was made by DeSocio, seconded by Doug Wellman, and approved unanimously.
