Water crews repair reservoir pipe and plan lead sampling program

Trustee Irene Avitia reported crews fixed an overflow pipe on a 1-million-gallon supply tank, will replace two 12-inch check valves on a supply line, and announced lead sampling for childcare sites was sent to the Illinois EPA, with a 60-resident sampling schedule starting in September.
