Operations Manager Chuck Vertrees told the board that the pools officially opened on May 23 and that mechanical-room repairs were scheduled for both the Clubhouse and South Meadow pools due to age and winter heat failure. He reported planned maintenance for farm tractors and an undergrounding project along the Community Farm/DCHS corridor to split the meter from the DCHS meter and improve service reliability for the Community Barn and Working Barn.
Vertrees also announced junior site-crew hiring for the summer season (six Jr. Site Crew members) to assist with site and farm maintenance, and noted that Senske Services will begin annual tree treatments on May 30. The minutes note that some mowing and trimming of open space corridors are time-sensitive due to bird nesting and fire danger.
