Selectboard to place Bristol Rescue Squad funding request on Town Meeting Day as separate article

The Selectboard moved to place the Bristol Rescue Squad's funding request on the Town Meeting Day ballot as a separate Article and to exempt the Squad from petition-signature requirements to change its annual allocation. Selectboard member Ian Albinson explained the change is proposed because a new per-capita budgeting strategy will alter the amount requested each year, and presenting the Squad's request as a separate Article avoids the need for repeated petition drives.
