Town Manager Karen Astley introduced Christine Couturier, representing the Putney Community Center, who described capital needs including foundation and drainage work. The application seeks a 1:1 match of eligible costs, up to $25,000, with the Putney Community Center providing matching funds.
Aileen Tulloch moved to support the application and authorize the chair to sign the accompanying letter; Rebecca "Bex" Slattery seconded and the motion passed. The board took no further action beyond approving the support letter.
The vote means the Selectboard will provide a formal endorsement for the center’s grant application; the center must supply matching funds from its own resources if awarded the grant.
