Selectboard approves payroll and $170,735 accounts payable warrant

At its Oct. 29 meeting the Putney Selectboard approved several warrants to the treasurer, including an extra payroll warrant for $11,836.05 and a payroll warrant dated Oct. 31, 2025 for $21,338.22. The board also approved an accounts payable warrant totaling $170,735.34 that included payments for ATG repairs on dump trucks, a survey to map remaining plots in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Pete's Tire Barn for tires, VT Integrated Architects for Town Hall renovations and Casella Waste Management for sludge removal.
Peg Alden moved to approve the warrants and Rebecca "Bex" Slattery seconded; the motion passed. The board asked staff to complete their review before signing and to ensure the treasurer executes the warrants upon completion of the review.
