BIC building near completion; Colstrip diversification strategy to be updated
In public comment, a local development representative said the Business and Innovation Center (BIC) is nearly sided and should have a transformer installed soon; interior work could finish by about Feb. 1 with a grand opening in April, and the town's 2017 Colstrip diversification strategy will be updated to include new energy and transmission options.

During public comment Jim provided a status update on the Business and Innovation Center (BIC), saying siding and concrete work are almost finished and that Northwestern Energy will install the building transformer next week. He said the stacks for units 5 and 6 will be installed on the building soon and suggested a small public celebration when that occurs.
