Ashley Community Forest Board approves FY27 draft budget, keeps July–June fiscal year

The Ashley Community Forest Board reviewed and approved its FY27 draft budget on April 9, 2026. David Paganelli reviewed prior budgeting approaches and explained the need to submit budgets to both Sharon and Strafford. The Board noted that Strafford uses a calendar fiscal year while Sharon uses July 1–June 30; the Board agreed to continue with a July 1–June 30 fiscal year for submissions and approved modest clarifications to line items before voting. Malcolm McShinsky moved to approve the draft with agreed modifications; David Paganelli seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
