Planning staff to pause resurfacing policy review amid program changes
Planning staff said they will put the county resurfacing policy on hold while they assess the introduction of new preservation and farmland programs and a forthcoming Woodlands Preservation program at the state level.

Planning Director Will Hanson told the board that the resurfacing policy will be put on hold while staff and the board investigate it further, citing the introduction of new programs and renewed interest in farmland preservation. Hanson said municipalities will decide which Creative Placemaking elements to replace and how many, with the county funding replacements subject to future commissioner approval.
