Planning commission sets June 1 meeting date and readies Comprehensive Plan RFP request
Commissioners moved the May meeting to June 1, 2026 (Memorial Day conflict) and staff said they will seek City Commission authorization April 28 to issue an RFP for the Comprehensive Plan update.

Staff told the Planning Commission that because the fourth Monday in May falls on Memorial Day, the commission plans to hold its May meeting on Monday, June 1, 2026, instead. The scheduling change was announced as part of the meeting's New Business and was recorded for the calendar.
