The Village of Gresham Protective Services committee reported ongoing personnel issues within the police department and noted several ordinance violations remain with the district attorney and the courts. The committee minutes state, "Police Activity Report: PD continues to personnel issues." Chief Leiser raised the question of whether additional police presence would be required for the village's Independence Day celebrations.
Committee members moved bartender and operator license applications to the full board for action. At the board meeting Trustees approved the period licenses for Sassy's Bad Habit, Whiskey Wells (aka Side Bar) and Dollar General for July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027.
