At the start of the Feb. 16 meeting, Mayor Clark Shultz removed Item A — a proposed amendment to the zoning code — from the agenda to allow time for additional public input and staff work.
Later in the meeting Councilmember Kirsten Bruce requested a study session to review the zoning code and asked that members of the Planning Commission be invited to join Council for that meeting; Council agreed to schedule facility tours and a study-session time in the spring. The removal from the agenda means no action was taken on the zoning amendment at this meeting; scheduling and stakeholder engagement are the next steps.
