DA asks board to authorize $105,000 victim assistance grant application

District Attorney Michael Rourke said the victim-witness unit relies on several funding sources and that the requested victim assistance and law enforcement grant is the unit's third-largest source. "The total amount of the request is $105,000 this year," Rourke said, and he asked the board to authorize the DA's office, the chair of the board, and the county controller to sign the application.
