Board accepts juvenile diversion intergovernmental agreement; county already received funds
Summary

District Attorney Michael Rourke told the Weld County Board of County Commissioners the juvenile diversion program is now funded by an allocation rather than a competitive grant through the Division of Criminal Justice and that the county has already received the funds. "We have already received the money," Rourke said, and asked the board to accept the terms and conditions of the intergovernmental agreement.
Commissioner (speaker 3) moved to approve the IGA and the motion was seconded and carried by voice vote. The DA’s office indicated it had reviewed the agreement and found no concerning terms; staff directed questions to Miss Britton for technical clarifications. The action was recorded as approved by voice vote with three commissioners present.
