Board approves third unit at 614 North E Street under Affordable/Workforce program
The Lake Worth Beach Planning & Zoning Board approved a Tier One Affordable/Workforce Housing incentive allowing a reduced-size third dwelling unit at 614 North E Street to be income-restricted; staff imposed five conditions including a recorded covenant and required site-plan and building permits within one year.

Annie Greening, Principal Planner for the City of Lake Worth Beach, presented the application for PZB 25-00000004 and said staff found the request consistent with the Land Development Regulations if conditioned. "The request is to participate in the Affordable Workforce Housing Program, Tier One, by income restricting that reduced size unit," Greening said, adding that the unit was created before the applicant purchased the property in 2024 when a Florida room had been converted into a third dwelling unit.
