The planning commission reported that staff recommended clarifying the local code definition of an acre to avoid disputes between 'developable acres' and 'builder's acres.' Planning commissioner Jen said some developers had raised questions about whether roads and sidewalks were excluded from acreage calculations and that the commission forwarded a definition update to council.
