The Gregory City Council voted on May 5 to approve a three-year funding plan to install a mat system that would create four pickleball courts while retaining one tennis court. The quoted plan includes a $2,000 pledge from the Community Foundation, up to $10,000 from the Gregory Economic Development (GED) QoL funds, and an offer from the Avera Medical Health Foundation of $50,000 to be delivered over three years — contingent on the city covering the full installation cost up front.
