The Gregory City Council on March 17 approved proceeding with the citywide Microsoft Office setup after Finance Officer Trudy Waterman said a $2,000 one‑time rollover fee had not been disclosed when the subscription price was first approved. Alex Hamilton moved to continue the setup with the one‑time fee; Stacey Boes seconded and the council voted unanimously in favor.
Waterman told the council the fee covers rolling all city accounts and computers into the Microsoft subscription environment; she presented the cost as a one‑time, upfront charge in addition to the annual subscription previously approved. The council’s action authorizes staff to proceed with implementation and payment of the rollover fee.
Council members did not request further changes to the approved subscription price at the meeting. The city will proceed with vendor setup and account migration as part of routine IT procurement and implementation.
