Staff outlines next steps: map review, data updates, efficiency measures and bylaws changes

At the end of the July 16 meeting, staff summarized next steps and assignments for Etech members. Heather (speaker 1) said she would hold off on distributing the interim spreadsheet until 2025 monitoring data are integrated, but asked members to "poke around" the interactive BLI map and email specific parcel comments. "If you see something that looks suspect to you in this map... send an email and just write the map and tax lot number and what you're thinking, and we will take a closer look at it," Thea Evans said.
Staff also outlined administrative follow-ups: planned bylaws changes to reduce the committee's minimum membership and to add a vice chair; rescheduling of recurring Etech meeting invites; and a request to poll members about an August meeting date. Heather said the group will receive updated numbers and an appendix showing monitoring detail once staff complete the data refresh, and that quantification of candidate efficiency measures will be the next substantive task brought back to the committee for review before policy-level hearings.
