Resident raises nuclear energy concerns during public comment

During the public-comment period resident Michell Palacios introduced herself and said she had been following discussion on Facebook about potential nuclear energy projects in northwest Colorado. Palacios said she was not asking the council to take immediate action but wanted to make her voice heard and to encourage the town to share information if such proposals reach the council; she told the council she was "definitely feeling a little more against it" after preliminary research.
