CDD sets July hearing on FY2026 budget after small net decrease in appropriations

He also reported that the O&M assessment is projected to decrease by about $2.88 per unit year-over-year. The board adopted the resolution on a motion by Vice Chair Arthur Rhodes, seconded by Assistant Secretary Carol Vaughan, "with all in favor."
The resolution establishes the public hearing, specifies transmittal and publication requirements under Florida law, and sets the meeting location as the Heritage Pines Country Club Meeting Room. Adams said the district will circulate formal notice and file the required hearing notice with counsel. The board will consider any public comments and possible amendments at the July hearing before adopting a final budget.
Next procedural steps: the district will post and publish the statutorily required notices and circulate updated budget materials to board members and residents ahead of the July 15 hearing.
