A Senate committee reviewed language in a bill tightening confidentiality for agreements between students, universities and personnel, including remedies for unauthorized disclosure and a reference to an athletic-agent statute.

The committee chair summarized proposed edits to a bill that would keep agreements and proposed agreements between students, the university and university personnel confidential except as provided by the article or by court order. "This is a confidentiality clause, that's probably similar to other confidentiality clauses that y'all have seen," the chair said.
