Council Member Kim Westergard presented proposed amendments to the Memorial Bench Program designed to standardize materials and installation. The proposal would raise the bench purchase price from $840 to $1,000 for the plastic bench with a 50-year warranty, and have the city install concrete pads while purchasers buy the bench and plaque.
