The Smyrna Town Council approved a three-year labor agreement between the town and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 126, after a councilmember moved to adopt the contract and the motion carried. "I'd like to make a motion that we approve the union labor agreement between the town Smyrna and International Brotherhood of Electrical Works, local union 1 26," said Speaker 4 (Councilman), who initiated the motion.
