Board approves $9.5 million Integrated Programs Application, 4-1

The Redmond School District Board approved the 2025-27 Integrated Programs Application on April 23, voting 4-1 to authorize submission to the Oregon Department of Education. Assistant Superintendent Linda Seeberg reviewed the application and said it includes nine Integrated Programs and the required elements of community engagement, needs assessment, Outcomes and Strategies, and two-year aligned budgets. She told the board the package will provide "approximately $9.5 million of investments to support high quality education for all students and close achievement disparities."
The board recorded a 4-1 vote on the motion to approve the plan and budgets; Director Keri Lopez voted no and expressed concerns about state and federal laws related to the application. Director Amanda Page moved to approve and Vice Chair Liz Goodrich seconded. Once approved by the board, the application will be submitted to the Oregon Department of Education for review prior to the release of funds.
